Laura Windridge

Director at CPC Elite Ltd

20+ years experience

Big enough to deliver, small enough to care. Relatable training for HGV drivers needing their Periodic Training modules

  • Small Business of the Year Award
  • Women-Led Training Provider of the Year

About Laura

I have worked in the logistics industry for 40+ years. I have seen many changes and I understand how hard it is for the HGV driver. An industry that has so much legislation and driver responsibility to keep all the road users safe. I want to give our drivers a memorable training experience, where they actually listen and realise why the DCPC is so important to their safety and our road network

About CPC Elite Ltd

We have been working for 3 years now. A hard arena to get into. Being a woman is also a challenge in a male led industry. We have forged good relationships and reputation within our local area. My understanding and relatable nature brings the drivers back, year after year

About Laura's team

this is a very small team so far. Just me

The journey

I started at TNT in 1986, I spent 20 years earning my stripes. Over the years I have worked in Sales, management, operations, parcels, pallets and courier. Having a broad network of colleagues and the experience, made the jump in to training a confident move. As they say, I wish I had done this years ago

Why your vote matters

Your vote would make the hard work worth it. It would demonstrate that you believe in me as much as I do
